Horsham Horsham is an attractive old Sussex market town some six miles south west of Crawley. A stroll along the ‘Causeway’ footway, reveals the town's long history, as medieval, Tudor, Georgian and Victorian homes are ranged along it. There are a number of places of interest in and around Horsham. The town is home to a great museum, which regularly houses new exhibitions, and carries much information about the local area. There is also a vibrant arts centre, with ballets, concerts and plays. Outside the town centre, there is some lovely countryside, including country parks and nature reserves. If you prefer a more elaborate brush with nature though, why not visit Leonardslee Gardens, which offers 240 acres of ornate and beautiful gardens, and you may even spot one of the semi-wild wallabies that live there!
