Cousins Richard and Darren Tuck combined their experience to launch their own thatching Business in 2002.
Richard and Darren are local in the true sense of the word, their fathers, (Bert and Mike Tuck) are Chideock born and bred. They have worked within a 30-mile radius of Chideock, for the past 20 years and are following in the footsteps of their great-grandfather, Jim Tuck, who was a thatcher at the turn of the 19th Century.
They can undertake all aspects of traditional thatching in either wheat or water reed, timberwork, battening and all aspects associated with thatching. Also a thatching advice service is available with an honest opinion on the condition of your roof.
They are committed to providing a personal, professional service and will strive to commence to date, endeavouring to ensure customers will be delighted with the outcome.
