On the edge of the North Downs, the town of Leatherhead is situated close to the M25, making it a popular place for offices wanting easy access to the motorway and the two nearby airports. The River Mole runs through the town and is an attractive feature in this historic area.

Leatherhead’s pedestrianised high street makes shopping more relaxed, but there are smaller shops and restaurants spaced around the town. Of particular interest in the local area is the Museum of Local History, which offers an insight into the development of the town. Also worth a visit is Bocketts Farm Park, which has displays, demonstrations and lots of farm animals. In addition, there is a great deal of beautiful countryside around the town, ideal for winter walks or summer picnics.
