The country town of Haslemere in Surrey, sits on the borders of Hampshire and West Sussex. The town spans from Weyhill, where the library can be found, past the station to the town centre. Surrounded by some lovely countryside, it is a great place to visit.

The town has a number of interesting features including the Town Hall and Haslemere Educational Museum, which has numerous exhibits on natural science and human history. There is always something to do in the evening, too, with restaurants, pubs and a range of events to choose from. A music festival is held every year in the town – it was founded in 1925 by instrument-maker and performer Arnold Dolmetsch.
