Tucked in the South west corner of Surrey, and surrounded by some of the best countryside in Southern England. Former market town and important wool town, with narrow streets lined with many historic buildings, bordered by the River Wey. There is a fine museum. Nearby is Charterhouse School and a great National Trust attraction, Winkworth Arboretum.
