Twelve miles north east of Wolverhampton. A very attractive, quiet city with a beautifully set and graceful three-spired Cathedral containing Chantry's lovely monument of the Sleeping Children. Heritage and Treasury exhibition in St. Mary's Church nearby with tableaux covering history of the town. Other famous natives included the essayist Joseph Addison and actor David Garrick. The house in which Dr. Johnson was born has been preserved as a Johnson Museum.
