Weston-Super-Mare A very popular seaside resort on the Bristol Channel at northern end of Mendip Hills. Town grew amazingly rapidly through 19th century, speeded by arrival of railway in 1840s. On Worlebury Hill is an Iron Age fortress. Two piers, esplanade, almost unending sands and golf. Helicopter Museum.
