Prescot - Ancient part of Merseyside, to east of Liverpool. A town essentially still with medieval pattern. As an industrial town it was internationally known for specialising in clocks and watches, celebrated by museum. Some 18th century buildings. Nearby is Knowsley Safari Park Southport - Host to the World famous flower show Southport a popular seaside resort. Sometimes referred to as the golfing capital of England, Southport is host to no less than seven championship golf courses. Southport summer attractions include Music in the park an international Jazz festival The British Musical Fireworks Championships complimented by an excellent selection of boutique shops, bijou cafes and wine bars in the town centre makes it attractive to both Men and Women of all ages.

Wallasey - A seven-minute ferry crossing away from Liverpool is the town of Wallasey, which extends into New Brighton a seaside resort on the north facing corner of the Wirral. The original village of Wallasey is still here, overtaken when ferry services began in 1823 bringing holiday makers and new residents. New Brighton had the predocesser of Blackpool's tower, sadly dismantled in the 1920's. A pier was also demolished. From the promenade along the coast one can enjoy the exciting prospect of Liverpool's waterfront. Road tunnel takes M53 traffic under the Mersey to the city centre.
