Skegness is a popular seaside resort on the east coast. With good beaches and lots of enjoyable things to do, it is the ideal place for a family day out.

One attraction that will be popular with children is Bottons Pleasure Beach, which has a wide range of rides. There is also a Butlins resort in the town, with a great selection of exciting things to do for all ages. The fun needn’t stop here though! An evening out around the town could include a visit to one of the many pubs, or perhaps a trip to the cinema.

If you prefer a more relaxing time, Church Farm Museum has many traditional buildings housing reconstructions and examples of life in the past. Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve is nearby, one of a number of reserves run by the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust. The sand dunes, seashore and freshwater habitats are home to a variety of creatures and plants, making it a beautiful spot for a stroll.
