According to local myth, heir to the throne of Denmark and England, Prince Havelock was just a baby when orders were given to a local fisherman named Grim, to drown the child at sea. Not wanting to murder the baby, Grim rescued him and together he and his wife raised the baby Prince, who went on to earn the reputation of strongest man in England, regaining the crown he had lost as a child and named the town of Grimsby after his adoptive father.
