A very charming town on the Colne, where there was a great paper making industry in the 18th century. Moor Park is now a famous golf course and the spectacular Mansion which has been preserved as club house can be visited by the public. Nearby is the Chiltern Open Air Museum, the Colne Valley through which runs the Grand Union Canal is managed here as a Park.
