Bexley The London Borough of Bexley is around 15 miles from central London, but in some respects is part of Kent, with the M25 close at hand to give easy access to the south east of England as well as the north of France. For tourists and residents in the borough, there is much to see and do. There are many places to shop in Bexley, including a large centre in Bexleyheath, and Erith has twice weekly street markets. Bexley is also quite a ‘green’ borough, with many parks and gardens and stretches of woodland. Places of interest in the area include the Grade 1 country house Hall Place and the ornamental Victorian Crossness Pumping Station. The communities which make up the borough include Erith, Crayford, Welling, Blackfen, Bexleyheath, Bexley Village, Slade Green and Sidcup. Bexley incorporates the postcode areas: DA5, DA6, DA7, DA8, DA14, DA15, DA16, DA17 and DA18.
