Mike Beswick started Border Insurance Services in 1983 after gaining experience over 14 years with Prudential, Norwich Union and Royal Insurance. Our aim has always been to give “holistic” Independent Financial advice on all types of Insurance, Investment, Pensions and Mortgages.

25 years ago we chose our logo to symbolise the way we can plan a financial and insurance strategy for our clients to best deal with whatever happens in life. The logo is a combination of the Knight chess piece and the Border Reiver image associated with the Scottish Borders.

The Border Reivers were fiercely independent with strong qualities of resilience and looking after their own people.
