Bearsden - Formerly called New Kilpatrick, Bearsden is 5 miles to the north-west of Glasgow. The town is cut through by the Antonine Wall, which is surprisingly well-preserved, and there are the remains of a Roman Bath house, with a reconstructed cold-plunge bath.
