Bernie Wooder is a qualified psychotherapist registered with the United Kingdom of Psychotherapists and the BACP. His many years of professional experience have included counselling, training therapists at Guys Hospital, London contributing to the UK media including television and radio appearances on shows with Jo Good, Paul Ross, Jenny Barnet, Steve Wright, Richard and Judy and Radio 4. He's also appeared on “All in the mind” with Professor Anthony Clare.

Bernie has a down to earth approach to therapy which is based on leading a full and varied life. His guiding principles are compassion and empathy which together help build a healing relationship.

Many of the clients I see have lived through family separation or divorce, relationship breakdown, bereavement, anger issues, self esteem, self image issues or bullying. I understand how difficult it can be to make the first contact, so to help make this process as available as possible, I accept open referrals.

Referrals come in from individuals, parents and carers, social services and other agencies. I also take on work through organisations and employers with our Employment Assistance Programmes that are tailored to your specific needs.
