I am a Counselling Psychologist / Psychotherapist with over twenty years professional experience. I work with individuals, couples and families, on a short or long term basis according to the client/s’ particular needs. I also offer life coaching (I am a founder member of the Association for Coaching), and supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists (Dip. Supervision)

Although I am an independent practitioner, I work as the Lead Counsellor for the staff of Chichester University, and I provide Supervision to school counsellors in Hampshire. My background includes work in hospitals, colleges, GP’s surgeries, and voluntary organisations, and so I have a wide understanding of the varied and differing needs of those seeking therapy.

I aim to provide a relaxed and flexible emotional environment in which we can explore the problems that are causing distress. Therapy is sometimes challenging in that we need to experience new and different perspectives, but it is always supportive and safe.

My methods are dependent on the requirements of the individual. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Systemic and Family Therapy, Couple Counselling, Psychodynamic Counselling, Existential Therapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Coaching. However, my main concern is that you feel comfortable, safe, supported and valued.
